WHO WE ARE

The Bateman Boosters (a “friends of” organization) is a 509(a)(2) organization whose mission is to raise money to support Bateman School. Our organization consists of school families, neighborhood friends, and faculty - anyone committed to supporting efforts to bring extra opportunities to Bateman students. We encourage local families to attend their neighborhood school and get involved in Bateman’s educational and community programs.  

The Bateman Boosters raises funds for "Blaze Plays," which supports movement, the arts, and education for every Bateman student. Since it's inception in 2016, the Boosters have raised funds towards the fine arts program, a new curtain and other much needed updates for the school auditorium, an outdoor electronic sign, new classroom libraries, new water fountains, promethium boards in every classroom, the purchase of a new math curriculum for the entire school, and funding a school play. The Bateman Boosters is led by a group of elected volunteer board members, who work hand-in-hand with the community, teachers, and school administration to ensure Bateman’s continued success. The fundraising priorities of the Bateman Boosters are determined by the school administration.
